Raised in Rochester, New York, Jim attended Northwestern University earning a masters degree in business administration. Upon becoming a single father of three children, Jim knew raising two daughters and a son alone would require more time than he would be able to give with an 8:00 to 5:00 job. Real estate would allow him a flexible schedule and give him time to participate with his children as a single father.
Jim began his real estate career in multifamily and commercial brokerage. With the slow down in the economy in the mid 80ís Jim expanded into property management and was responsible for managing several large apartment projects in the area.
In 1997 Jim partnered with friends to develop Villas on the Bluff, an eighty unit, ranch style, gated condominium community. The concept of condominiums being a single level dwelling was unique and something completely new to the condominium community. With the success of Villas on the Bluff, Villas of Bedford and Pebblebrook Village in Arlington were soon to follow. Although Jim is no longer involved in the development of the properties, he is very involved in the propertiesí association management.
Jim believes purchasing and owning a home could very well be one of the most important decisions of your life. As a Realtor, he understands the marketplace, financing, negotiating and marketing. As an association manager, he has experience and understanding of the importance in working with the Board of Directors to maintain and keep your community as a desirable place for you to live as well as to protect your investment. As the owner of the company, Jim maintains a commitment to be your personal and primary contact and to offer a professional service believing that service should be first and foremost.
